- Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Description: Command & Control Systems and Software (C2S2), which includes the former L-3 Communications ILEX Systems, is currently seeking Quality Assurance Specialist at our Eatontown, NJ location. C2S2, a Division of L-3 Services, Inc. utilizes state of the art technologies to provide the highest level of systems and software engineering, program management and operational services to the Aviation and Defense markets.
Quality Assurance Specialist needed to prepare and execute quality assurance plans for projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the preparation and review of project plans, standards, and procedures.
- Auditing engineering activities and work products for completeness and conformance to established standards and plans.
- Documenting QA processes and procedures and non-compliances in corrective action requests and ensure outstanding issues are tracked to resolution.
- Participating in peer reviews and management reviews throughout the life of the project.
Qualifications/Experience:
- BS Degree in a Technical/Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience with quality assurance functions, process definition and implementation.
- Should have experience with and be comfortable interacting with customers and providing training.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Access.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter and team player.
US Citizenship is required and candidate must be eligible for a security clearance. Current clearance is a plus.
